This load delivers a very light recoil impulse and match accuracy. It is what a 40 S&W always should have been, but has mostly failed to be. If you are a 40 S&W shooter, try this round and you will be hooked. A great round for both short and long barrel hand guns.
Not all barrels are created equal, chronographs don’t always agree with each other and atmospheric conditions affect velocities. That being said, we believe that you can expect to get around 1,080 fps out of a 4.5″ barrel with this round, maybe a little more. You should get over 1,000 fps out of your 3″ barrel with minimal muzzle flip!
