9mm ammunition was developed more than 100 years ago by Georg Luger for use in handguns. The 9mm NATO round is used in over 70 countries and has been loaded in a lot of different bullet weights. It is also the standard handgun cartridge of other non-NATO countries. The loadings known to be used in various NATO countries range from 108 grain bullets to 128 grain bullets.
